Cavorite by Cascadia Games

(3.4/5) Cavorite for the iPhone and iPod Touch is a very fun platform-puzzler. You control a scientist that created a new element, cavorite, which turns off gravity. You walk around on an alien planet as you spray cavorite on boxes to solve puzzles and open doors, collect parts for your spaceship, and defeat aliens. The controls are smooth, and the game is challenging and makes you think. I can easily recommend Cavorite to anybody, and it is definitely worth the $1.99 cost. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id403123143

Color Bandits by Chillingo Ltd.

(5/5) Color Bandits for the iPhone and iPod Touch is a very fun shooter game. The graphics are amazing, and the controls are perfect. The levels are fun, and there are many power-ups to help you. There are very few levels, but the survival mode is enough to make up for it. You will end up becoming addicted to the fun gameplay and awesome music. The game is definitely worth the $0.99 asking price on the app store. Children will love the game, and so will adults. There is only one problem I can think of, and it is a very minor one. Later in the levels, the game gets extremely difficult, and you end up having almost no space to move around. However, the game is still awesome, and in my opinion, it deserves the perfect score of 5 out of 5. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/color-bandits/id409102692?mt=8

(4.5/5) Floe for the iPhone and iPod Touch is an adorable puzzle game. The game has very cute 3D graphics, and contains mind-boggling puzzles later on in the game. In the beginning, the game is very easy, but the difficulty quickly goes up. You control the baby polar bear, Floe, by tapping where you want her to move. The puzzle is completed by tilting blocks around and freezing them in place in order to make a path for Floe. The game provides you with a balloon, which you can use to drift over a level that you can't seem to complete. The game is very smooth and cute, and children and adults will enjoy it. Candy and Clyde by Miniclip.com

(4/5) Candy and Clyde for the iPhone and iPod Touch is a game full of 5-second minigames. The minigames let you choose between being Candy, a nice person, or Clyde, the naughty one. The games are very entertaining, and since they are only a few seconds long, you can pick up and play the game for as long or short as you want. The minigames eventually get repetitive, and after you beat all of the games, the minigames repeat with the only difference being a small difficulty change. The game is good for playing for 5 minutes or less, and has colorful graphics and smooth controls. For the quick entertainment it provides, it is worth the $0.99 it costs. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/candy-and-clyde/id409315620?mt=8

Across Age by FDG Entertainment

(3.5/5) Across Age for the iPhone and iPod Touch is a very fun action RPG. It has an engaging storyline, and great graphics. The game mechanic of time travel is very interesting, as you must travel through the past, present, and future in order to complete quests. The characters attack automatically, which can occasionally be annoying when you end up attacking an enemy you don't want to attack. In the end, the game is a fun experience, but not the best. If you like action RPGs and want to give Across Age a try, it is available on the App Store now for $2.99. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id351652012?mt=8
